  2. Those temps are easily survivable with the appropriate equipment, however exposed without them one won't last too long. The biggest issue for the ukronazis or any troops is having the supplies to cope.

The one thing that undoubtedly saved Britain was the shift by the Luftwaffe to attacking civilians instead of military targets. The RAF was on It's last legs at that point. Ironically it was a mistake by RAF bombers during an attack on Germany hitting civilians instead of intended military targets that caused the Nazis to strike back at English civilians as the Blitz went. I don't recall the exact raid by the RAF and which area was hit but the information is out there.
