  1. British authorities will not claim them as fighting on behalf of England as that of course would be seen as Russia as direct conflict. They will attempt to bargain but that's all they can do.

  2.  @michaelkatz275  yet again you spew Ukrainian propaganda. I've seen multiple videos posted by Ukrainian soldiers saying they aren't going into battle as they aren't armed properly or supported. Look on YouTube, not hard to find. Of course you live in a "Ukraine is winning" cognitive dissonance bubble.

  3. My understanding is that foreign combatants do not have the same rights under the Geneva Convention that native born combatants and are viewed as mercenaries. With Aislin this may be different as he's apparently married to a Ukrainian and been in Ukraine for a few years. I don't have any sympathy for any mercenaries in Ukraine nor this sentence for these 3.
