  1. I have two 13 year old Dell laptops that refuse to die. I'm running LinuxMint MATE on one and Pop! OS on the other and they both run really well. The Mint box is for use by my brother who is not a Linux guy and generally has difficulty with computers. He finds it no more challenging than Win7 or Win10 and, as DT said, the work flow is very similar to Windows.
