As more people are doing all their computing on their smart phones or tablets, the group of people who actually use Windows outside of work is becoming more concentrated on gamers and other people who are not actually averse to or incapable of installing another OS to do what they want to do. If Microsoft keep shitting the bed with their bloatware, advertising and data mining, there may well come a tipping point when people start to move en-masse to other systems that do what they want the way they want it done.
