  1.  @PBAmygdala2021  yeah I don't think anyone knows what the answer is.... But even the Founders knew that this system of govt, that affords people the Liberty to build their owns lives and not be under the boot of the elite, was only as good as the people that maintain it. And we the people have failed miserably as maintaining our American culture. The original culture that actually believed that all men are created equal... We never got there as a society, we made huge strides, but now we've swung so far back the other way. I don't think the answer is actually political at all. I think the politics is just a symptom. The solution is raising a few generations of kids that grow up to be honest, courageous people who value the freedom we have (had) and act as if they believe in the ten commandments (or some other similar code). If you think about it, that's how the comnunists have gotten this far, they infiltrated the public school system 40 years ago and have produced several generations of people who think America is evil and racist and unfair and it deserves to be torn down. And that's exactly what they're doing. That's not a single action that the Biden admin has taken that isn't designed from the ground up to tear down America. Most people just can't accept that fact, but it's true. From letting illegals flood across the border with no vaccines or covid tests, abruptly cutting off the supply of antibody infusions to Texas and Florida, leaving 1,000's of Americans in Afghanistan, gifting the Taliban hundreds of thousands of machine guns, ammo, night vision and armored vehicles with which they will murder countless innocents, the eviction moratorium that bankrupted tens of thousands of average middle class folks that maybe had a rental house or 2, and most of all, weaponizing the DOJ and FBI to only go after political enemies while hiding felony and felony for the Bidens and others. That's my $0.02... have courage and stand up any and every chance you get no matter how small... They add up.

  2.  @PBAmygdala2021  it's not that simple... The American Republic was probably the closest thing to not being an illusion as has ever existed in terms of a society... But, as always, evil has risen to the top and slowly turned it into an illusion. So yes, it is an illusion, but I think it's only because we as Americans let it become one, not because America itself was bad.

  5.  @aluke5856  no it wasn't capitalist greed that doomed us because those greedy capitalists exist in every single crap hole country - here they're called capitalists, other places they're called President or general or whatever. The failure is that the public school system has been dumbing down kids for 40 years, which directly results in people who do things like, vote for Joe Biden for 50 years. The failure is the people weren't intelligent and moral enough to elect people that would do their jobs correctly.
