I’m a clinical pharmacist - learned how to read studies, internet and what not and being doing it over a decade. The statistics involved can be very intimidating but just reading the study and using common sense to see if the design of the study makes sense is a big part of it. Many peer reviewed studies are poorly done and it’s obvious upon reading that they missed something. You can also read crash courses in study design and stats and get a little better idea. But relying on studies for things like grounding means you’ll be 5-10yrs behind practitioners that are just doing what works instead of waiting on “science” to catch up

Oh look, an authoritarian disguised as a philosopher. I’ll pass, can’t believe anyone talks to this guy at this point after he’s made his true character clear.

Depends on whether you’re working the muscles to fatigue or not - moderately heavy weights would be muscular endurance while super light weights may just be nearly all cardio/aerobic

Yeah Americans like our own weird units of measurement so you’ll just have to learn imperial measurements like I had to learn metric when watching other channels lol

1:38:00 we’re not designed or evolved (whatever ur proclivity) to rub a substance on our skin to block the sun. Zero chance the benefits outweigh the risks.

Having Zuck on to talk about health is utterly ridiculous - might as well as Fauci on while ur at it. Sheesh.

The kind that you do several days a week every year for decades on end

40:04 honestly even saying things like “EMF conspiracy theorist” is detrimental to honest conversation and research at this point because that term has been used as a bludgeon to silence anyone asking legitimate questions about a plethora of things. Especially considering how many so called conspiracy theorists have been proven correct just in the last 4 years. I think people use that vocabulary without even realizing it comes with a connotation.

When you started lifting weights your body would mobilize glucose to use as fuel, but you weren’t able to effectively use it so it showed up as high blood sugar. As you’re body got better at using the glucose the high blood sugars went away

Yeah should’ve been norepinephrine- they’re definitely not the same - epi released from adrenal glands. They also have different uses as therapeutics- norepi is used as a vasopressor during shock to keep BP up while epi is mostly used for anaphylactic reactions, but also during shock/crash

Nearly everything he says applies to all ages past adolescence

Sam went woke, turned on his friends and advocated clearly authoritarian rules and ideas while saying things like “Hunter Biden could have the corpses of children in his basement and I wouldn’t care” all because he hates Trump or whatever. I can’t believe anyone talks to his dumbass at this point, he’s clearly demented.

I just started doing cold plunges and immediately learned that if I put my palms in the water it went from uncomfortable to painful really fast so I keep my hands out - cool you mentioned that was a well known thing
