  1. Tbf when I post jobs like that I can manipulate the candidates I get… If I post a lower end salary I’ll get 200 Indians the first day. If it’s on the high end I’ll get the same 200 Indians but I’ll also get the 5 Americans that actually speak English also. The 5 Americans are more qualified and better hires almost every time, they’re just not cheaper.

  2. @ well I own the company and don’t have to ask permission - plus I’m not a software company or anything like that so don’t have 100 engineers or anything like that so the cost wasn’t as big of a deal. Also, I have a really hard to understanding people with think accents and was willing to pay extra just to be able to communicate easily and found they were actually more competent as well.
