Hmm we been living like it's 2019 in Texas since last year. Seeing as how childhood obesity is up 25% in most of the country where there were lockdowns and no school, in thinking staying open was def the right choice.

@Serenity_Media we'd have a ton more infected based on what?? Idk what's so hard about this.. look at the numbers, the states that went full on dictatorships about masks and lockdowns didn't do any better, and sometimes worse, than states that basically stayed open. Unless there was a very significant drop in cases how on earth can anyone justify 25% increase in child obesity, likely a similar one in adults, resulting in a huge increase in premature deaths and billions in healthcare spending. I get at the first how people thought masks and lockdowns could work, but 18 months of reality says they don't, let's stop pretending they do.
