As a cop who’s responded to a ton of similar calls - almost never is there much information other than someone called and they heard a gun shot in this 3 block general area. And it was at night and like they said it was Halloween and there were decorations in the yard so likely easy to miss. The neighbors were probably so familiar with the yards and those decorations they immediately noticed when there was something out of place. It’s amazing how “easy” things seem to people who have never done it and are just watching it on a video.

Haha I’m wondering if she was even on it. Or else it was just a super busy airport and they missed her

@kenyattaclay7666 thanks, that was my point - I was a police officer for years, finding someone off of a picture isn’t that easy, much less in a crowded airport where I’ve literally lost family members before because there are just so many people it’s hard to visually inspect every person. Some people have no real experience other than watching things in videos and greatly underestimate how difficult things are irl or fail to understand that things are never as clear cut as a video synopsis make them out to be

@canesrock82 I didn’t say it wasn’t a miss… I explained WHY it was missed and how anyone else in similar situation may make the same mistake.

@ sorry, I spent the last year in a South American jungle with no internet - but thanks standing by waiting this whole time - really makes me feel loved

@rachelharper3778 no, the default response is to follow the constitution and respect people’s rights by only doing things like forcing ur way into someone’s house if there is a probable cause and reasonable belief there is exigency instead of kicking in someone’s door every time you get an anonymous shots fired call, which is thousands of times per year. What exactly would you do if you got on scene at a shots fired call, saw and heard nothing and knew there were 2 domestic violence calls waiting for an officer to respond? Waste 30 min sneaking around on scene or go deal with the situation where you know something is actually happening? You clearly have no idea what ur talking about
