Comments by "Wide Awake Human" (@WideAwakeHuman) on "Trump Will Renegotiate the World - Eric Weinstein" video.
@reevesjkd Putin isn’t afraid of Trump, he respects him and believes when he makes a threat that he will back it up with action. Which is exactly the relationship you want. “Fear” isn’t the emotion we need Putin to have - it’s respect and belief we will do what’s needed to protect ourselves. Also - no one knows the future and no one is asking him to predict with 100% certainty. But he won’t even say something simple like “I’m fairly certain Trump winning is a better outcome than Harris having won” which is a true statement.

Haha… regulate it to save it… works every time

@ that’s as impossible as the goal of just wanting to know where everyone is at all times because then you could always know who commits crimes…. People have a right to staying anonymous just like people have the right to stay off social media and not read the ridiculous things that people say from behind a keyboard with a pseudonym.
4
@james20603 exactly… the ability to be anonymous is called freedom. Without anonymity there can be no real privacy.
2
@ what is the definition of “hate speech”? The short answer is, yes, of course speech that is offensive and even hateful in nature is protected. But I’d love to hear your definition.
2
He also admitted he thinks he’s the only smart person on earth and narcissistic. Which are both true.
2
No, Eric… no one needs to call you and ask how to un-F America. The adults are in charge and don’t need a waffling elitist to help.
2
Brett actually a smart guy with real ideas that has no issue giving his opinion. I was watching him when Covid started and he was slow but eventually realized he was wrong about it and had no prob shifting opinion. Eric is a waste of time and if there weren’t funny comments to read here then I’d already be watching something else.
2
@reevesjkd yeah that’s what people are tired of… everyone trying to be “safe” and avoiding giving an opinion. Eric isn’t a journalist and he’s not a politician - he’s a scientist but he’s not talking about science. So literally the only value he could provide is his own perspective and opinion but he want actually give it. People are tired of double speak and spineless talking heads but Eric is still trying to straddle fences. Bret on the other hand has no problem giving an opinion and just admitting he got stuff wrong when he does (like Covid). Eric really is just an elitist that thinks he’s so much smarter than everyone around him yet what has he actually accomplished? What has he built? What has he created? Nothing compared to the other people in the space - except maybe brain dead Sam Harris lol but at least Sam has an app and a following albeit shrinking.

@ highly coveted? lol There’s a reason his own podcast was a failure and it’s because he’s good for a show or two but once you’ve heard him once you’ve pretty much heard everything he had to say. Again, his brother is infinitely more interesting and down to earth, able to admit he was wrong, etc.
2
@kingwein89 maybe brilliant qualified INEFFECTIVE and unscrupulous people is more accurate. FDA is totally captured by industry and is serving them instead of the people. Idc how brilliant the people are.

@ well tbf, neither of them have any nutrition experts working there

Yeah ok

It’s CERTAIN that Trump winning was preferential to Harris winning and he can’t even say that. People give their opinions all the time and it’s very easy to quantify ur level of confidence in an opinion so I’m not sure why he’s so worried about seeming confident about things he’s not confident in.
1
It’s the elitist mentality - they all think things will only work if they have some control of it because everyone else is too stupid. Same thing he said about Trump’s new team- they’re just “not experts” and so can’t really solve these complex problems.
1
@ I love how people say she’s “too emotional” lol What on earth does that even mean? Maybe it was impossible for her to make it there and to her next engagement without having the flexibility of a private jet? That’s how busy people operate. Just tell me what she’s said that didn’t turn out to be true and compare it to anyone else in the space.

True

@iankclark you’re giving him too much grace here… he talks and acts as if it’s clear the possible chaos may outweigh the possible good and there’s zero argument that Harris winning would’ve been a better choice. He can’t just say “yes, I’m happy Trump won because that gives us the best chance at avoiding war but I’m scared of other things that may happen”. Yet he wonders why people think he has TDS.
1
3min and Eric proves why he’s just another elitist that would almost rather keep the old, corrupt, evil, oppressive system than “break the structure”. As if there is any scenario where keeping the current system under the D/R paradigm could be better than breaking the system.

@mattjack3983 oh he’s not opening any honest discussions that aren’t already happening without him - he’s irrelevant
1
@shinehy403 sorry I’m not sure which of my opinions you mean - looks like I’ve made several comments about Trump, Putin, Eric up there
