@ throughout history people fought with their neighbors because that’s who affected you… Iran isn’t invading America. Not even close. And if we didn’t have 750 bases across the world there wouldn’t be anything close to them to attack. What’s absurd is INCREASING our military budget and spending a trillion dollars on it when we’re not at war for the first time in my lifetime. You can be a neocon if you want but it’s absurd you think invading Iraq and overthrowing a dozen govts in that region has been a positive for the US.

@joshgill3189 literally nothing we’ve done in the Middle East has done anything but cost us lives and money while creating entire groups of people who hate us… people living in dirt huts on the other side of the world weren’t a threat to the US. They were a threat to Israel.
