  1. The cost is on their website and he said it was a $250 boot constructed somewhere else so anyone with half a brain can tell there’s a 50% premium buying an American made boot. Not rocket science. And 90% of the people wearing these aren’t getting them for hard use work boots and climbing ladders all day. If buying something made in the US and keeping ur money here is just “rhetorical blather” to you then just don’t buy them. But again there are tons of people here that prefer buying stuff made here and are willing to pay extra for it so u just kinda sound like an America hater or something trying to dis people that like supporting American companies.

  3. Yeah they’re not as stiff as the real deal work boots - everyone buying them should know that. Tons of people like a boot but just need it on the weekends or just want to wear them every now and then. But yeah they could stand to be in the $500 range and be reasonable

  4. The idea that leather isn’t environmentally friendly is absolutely ridiculous. Leather goods can easily last decades and still be totally serviceable while synthetics are trashed after a couple yrs and the spend a few decades (at least) in a landfill. I love barefoot shoes but want leather.

  5. Well it IS impossible…. impossible to pay Americans $4/day to make stuff so that the corporate monsters like Adidas, Nike, Apple, Yeti, etc can still make the same amount of money.
