  1.  @-NxFace-  former cop here - ur right, they 100% should’ve snatched the dude up seeing as how they would’ve been told by dispatch the sus description on the way over. But I will say - it’s so rare to see a suspect standing there acting cool after just beating the shit out of someone that it makes it easier to just not notice him because ur brain is on autopilot and assume the bad guy would be long gone. No excuse, but it happens.

  2.  @belladonna5904  yeah my mom slapped the crap out of me when I was younger and I’m thankful for it - I’m a respectful adult that’s stayed out of trouble and respect my mom for how she raised me. I’m sure some people have a totally different experience but there isn’t some generalization that can be drawn about a mom I smacks their kid

  3.  @JessicaO490Z  people watching these crime shows forget that the prosecutor and cops weren’t watching the story on YouTube with all the details like they are and have to actually build a case from scratch and that takes time. They also love to forget the innocent until proven guilty thing too. lol

  4.  @-NxFace-  yeah it’s not an easy job to do well - you have to be turned on and hyper aware 100% of the time because the second you get distracted is when something bad happens and the stakes are obviously life and death sometimes. Any cop could make the mistake of not realizing that guy was the suspect because it’s so unlikely that you really have to be thinking at 100mph to not miss it
