@billsf94131 if you're not interested enough or smart enough to follow what's being said then don't bash it... And no, it literally can't be explained in 15min. And it can't be explained in a YouTube post. Just watch it and pay attention or go back to watching TV and eating Cheetos, no reason to trash talk him.

@ozowen5961 oh please, there's a ton of evidence there was a global or at least near global flood all at the same time... U talk like you were there and no it never happened for sure.

He didn't actually say the flood didn't happen... He said the story had to make sense to everyone so it was written in a way to be both literally true but to also have a much deeper meaning and no matter which way you look at it the story is true in every sense of the word. Or at least that's what I think he meant but he did leave some ambiguity in it.

@ozowen5961 yeah just like the "facts" showed masks protected everyone from covid... Except they didn't. Anyone who thinks there's definitive evidnce a great flood didn't happen is just arrogant or ignorant. Epic of Gilgamesh, sediment layers spread across large distances, sea fossils found on the tops of mountains, large graveyards of fossils that indicate large flood. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. You're not worth talking to if you think you know without a doubt that there was no flood 7500 years ago. Go read some books.

@ozowen5961 masks aren't an issue... The point is arrogant dipshits like you who think you KNOW things are constantly proven wrong as time goes on so to say "the flood definitively didn't happen" is just a childish and moronic thing to say. Maybe one day you'll grow up.

@ozowen5961 I know plenty about science, which is why I'm not arrogant enough to claim something 7500 years absolutely did not happen when there have hundreds of things people said absolutely never happened or didn't exist in the Bible only for science to finally catch up and have to admit it was wrong. But go ahead and arrogantly think you know everything, it'll eventually make a fool out of you.

@ozowen5961 let me guess, you think it's a fact that the entire universe started with a big bang and everything we see now is just random assemblies of atoms.. cuz science

@ozowen5961 likewise I've always admired people that think using big words to make an ad hominem attack think it somehow makes it valid. Well done you. You embody the arrogance that is always the downfall of 'intellect'.

@ozowen5961 "are u deranged" "so learn some science".. every comment has a phrase intended to make me sound like an idiot, those are ad hominem attacks. I know what an argument from incredulity means but that had nothing to do with my argument so ignored it. You are an embodiment of the arrogance that the entire "intelligent" elite exhibit on a daily basis. Think you know everything, know nothing. This is a waste of my time.

Bit of advice... The only "lousy" Christian is the one who stops trying to make themselves more like the perfect example of Christ. Being a sinful human doesn't exclude one from being a Christian, it is, in fact, a prerequisite. Believe on Him, seek to learn what that can mean in your life, treat people around you as if they are all made in His image and have the divine spark of consciousness and being inside them because they do. Also... I don't think it was a coincidence at all that you found bagel money in the parking lot. Cheers!!

Congrats... Some people, like Harris, can't see past their own intelligence into a realm where logic and reason are present, but they don't tell you the WHOLE story. Like you said, it would be impossible to replicate the fullness or transcendent nature of JBP's lecture series without using the spiritual/religious/mystical.

@ozowen5961 my gosh... You again? Are you in some kind of "There was no global flood" cult or what?
