I feel like the problem is that JP is trying to work out philosophical/religious/spiritual questions and Dawkins has no use for anything even remotely connected to spiritual/religious things so the questions aren't going anywhere. But yeah, it didn't flow - I felt like Dawkins was wishing he was somewhere else
