"China thought Australia would bend quite quickly" Australia maybe didn't bend to China but they actually became China so not sure how much better it is.

@soggybiscotti8425 sorry, I didn't mean China owns Australia... I mean Australia basically turned into an authoritarian country where people are getting arrested or fined for simply leaving their house without permission. As if any law abiding citizen in a free country needs permission to leave the house, go to work, go out to eat, go about their lives as they see fit. You guys BECAME China and while it's obviously not the same thing, but Australia is most definitely not a FREE country at this point since if the citizens aren't free to go about their lives without constant interference from some govt force then they're not free.

@Rhodiac people aren't getting fined and or arrested for doing normal things like leaving their home? Not wearing a mask? I've seen on more than one occasion your leaders talking about how you all might finally "get your freedoms back" once they feel like covid is under control. All the videos of riots and stuff not true? Victoria has limits on how far you can go from your house and for what reasons or is that untrue also? Businesses still mostly shutdown or very recently allowed to open or another falsehood?

@soggybiscotti8425 yeah sorry bro... I think you're actually part of the problem if you think restricting people from going further than 25km from their home if reasonable or forcing vax passports or throwing people in quarantine camps against their will and then making them sit there all day waiting to be fed like dogs. There are literally thousands of videos of people being arrested for not wearing a mask or not following other draconian, authoritarian, China-esque rules so it's pretty unbelievable when you're telling me everything is fine. Any time an elected leader has to say "If you'll obey these rules, then maybe we'll give you some of your freedoms back" in reference to a guy who left his house to drive around and get some air, then you're not in a free country anymore. Maybe it's just hard for you to see from the inside.. Idk. If it was a random video or news story it'd be easy to disregard but literally hundreds over the last few months. I'm glad you feel like everything is fine tho, at least you like your servitude. Like you said you've "gotten rid of COVID multiple times"... Yes, that's because getting rid of COVID is unreasonable unless you people intend on living locked down for the rest of your lives, covid isn't going away.. Ever. Anyway... Good chat! Thanks for giving me your POV

@TheGreatOldOak thanks... I started to question myself but then just scrolled through 50 videos of things like a mom getting arrested for not wearing a mask while her kids were watching. Those Aussies love being told what to do I guess, but then again they used to be a penal colony under a Monarch so I guess it's just cultural.

@Jason Wu if you can't see the accelerated authoritarian shift in Australia since the pandemic began you're not paying attention... Obviously I don't have Australia became exactly like China in 18 months but it took a huge leap towards big govt oppression.

@Jason Wu yeah well when Victoria is the second largest state and has something like 1/4 of the entire population it really doesn't matter if it's federal or state... Still authoritarian, still trampling the rights of 5 million people, still a very slippery slope. The defense is "oh don't worry it's just the state authorities going nuts not the entire federal govt"... Lol

@Rhodiac watched some "leader" in Australia telling everyone if they don't get a vaccine by Nov 13th then they're getting fined $5000 and can't go back to work... But yeah, idk anything about Australia. Love your servitude you sheep.
