  1. Dang didn’t expect this level of honesty from Newt - it’s clear he didn’t hold back for fear of pissing off fellow Republicans. His evaluation of the Republican Party as just being a vehicle for accumulating wealth and “managing” the existing bureaucracy was pretty spot on and surprising coming from him.
