Thinking the govt can SPEND they're way out of a homeless problem is just as naive as the people trying to give them free housing and free money.

@NM-qd3tm what a silly thought to believe that throwing money at homelessness will solve it, that's the exact same idea that Democrats in California have.... You'd think watching Los Angeles spend BILLIONS in housing and job opportunities for homeless people while their homeless rate goes up by double digit % amounts each year would be enough to show you that throwing money at homelessness isn't going to solve it. So like I said, acting like it's just a matter of spending money on it is ridiculous since we have real life proof that doesn't work.

@josheternal yeah... But no. "Public property" doesn't mean available to any member of the public can use that space for anything at any time. That's just ridiculous, unsafe and trashy for all the non-homeless people that actually pay for those public places.
