"Representation" doesn't just mean voting for Senators. The people in DC are represented, likely more than any other city in the entire country. The entire city is full of people who live off the govt, off of taxpayer dollars. They don't get a seat at the table like every other state. Whine all you want, say "no taxation without representation" all you want. It's not in the county's best interest to give DC any more say over the rest of the country. Which is why it still isn't a state.

What the HHS means with "equity" is that they apparently don't like Red states saving people so they're cutting off the supply. Note: in Texas we have been administering the Regen-Cov until we were told yesterday that we could no longer order it because HHS cut Texas's supply by NINETY percent.
