  1. that's what we the people get for ever allowing "property" taxes to be a thing... the fact that we have to pay for OWNING something is ridiculous and always has been. The Fair Tax should be used to replace the current federal, state and local taxe systems. Taxes should be based on what you BUY when you buy it... not an ever ending charge on things you've owned for decades. But then they wouldn't be able to steal our money so I'm sure it'll never change.
