@gur262 i don’t take any of his products and likely won’t - but idk why people assume if someone is selling something then everything they’re saying is a lie. Have you never bought anything that lived up to what it was sold to be? I have. I’d rather just judge the products on their own I suppose instead of assuming they’re crap cuz he’s selling them.

He’s actually a very light “philosopher” because he sort of admits he doesn’t answer any really deep questions - he just assumes that everyone wants to not die and goes from there. To be a philosopher you have to address the presuppositions not just start in an arbitrary place and create a system.

@maziusclavo8021 he literally says “let’s assume that no one wants to die” - I’m not assuming anything, he’s articulated that he starts with that assumption which is a very shallow place to start if we’re talking about philosophy. I mean I think it’s cool what he’s doing and he’s a very interesting guy but calling him a philosopher is crazy.

He is making the same mistake that people in every era make in thinking we’re in some metaphysically unique time - unique, yes, but nothing new. Plus I think a lot of religious people dislike the fact that he basically thinks humans are God or will create God thru AI or something. He’s def an interesting guy.
