  1. “50yr old women doing yoga for 30yrs” is who’s getting hip replacements? If that’s the case it’s because women who do yoga are very likely to do eat tons of vegetables and oxalates have destroyed their joints because yoga isn’t anything that should cause hip destruction. And if men doing deadlifts are also getting hip replacements and yoga and deadlifting are totally different stimuli then why would we ASSume that the activity and not the diet is causing the joint destruction??? Major logical flaw in this discussion. Also, I currently don’t deadlift so really don’t care about that part.
