  1.  @DaleLane2025 it’s very rare for a a healthy professional (MD/RN/PharmD/CRNA) to lose their license just because they have an addiction. There is usually theft/fraud and other crimes that go along with the addiction that result in revocation of license. I personally know 2 people (one Md and one PharmD) that had addiction issues and still practice because they fixed the problem and didn’t commit any major crimes in the course of their addiction. If you lost ur license you likely did more than simply take Xanax as prescribed and get addicted.
