@juda8054 actually don't watch any news "channels" because all they do is lie. And I never said I approved of the overspending no matter if it was Trump or not. And you can stop with the "tax cuts for the rich" bullshit, every single actual tax payer benefited under Trump, salaries were at an all time high, and all those numbers are still available for you to go look at since whatever news channel you watch didn't tell you. The economy was smoking before COVID. But the SOCIALISTS are still paying people to stay home instead of getting people back to work. Trump wanted to get the economy open for months while people like Whitmer, Cuomo and Newsom were telling their citizens to stay home for Christmas and don't go visit your family, while they were all doing those exact things behind our backs. Running the deficit up was bad when Trump did I'll continue to say it's bad no matter who's in office. But Trump ain't running things, whoever's controlling the dementia patient in the White House is running things and it's obvious they want to pay people to stay home indefinitely. And yes I'm worried about the Socialists or Marxists or whenever you choose to call them because people that think the way they do have destroyed country after country, it's just a fact. If you don't like it, tough shit, still fact.

@dennisgorelik oh I'm no expert... But I would guess all of the above. The Socialists running the country have no idea what they're doing and their plan seems to be to keep printing money in order to pay people to stay home. I literally can't find employees because everyone is getting a check to stay home. That can only go on so long without crashing the whole system. As long as they don't make some rule where people don't have to pay their rent then real estate values dropping won't hurt my feelings at all.... Just be a good time to buy some more.

@To Be Human oh my bad... I didn't make that clear. We have one party in America with two wings, yes they're pretty much the same. And while Trump spent way too much money he also had a once every 100 years "pandemic" to deal with so there's that. But he's the only guy since 2001 to actually get some measurable amount of peace in the middle east and attempt to fulfill the "bring our troops home" promise along with actually standing up to China with things like trying to prosecute all the American university professors that have taken Chinese money in execute exchange for giving them our intellectual property. While you have Democrats like Swallwell that literally slept with a Chinese spy, no one denies it, yet he's still on a security committee.

You mean the people that got sent home because some dumbass politician decided they were non-essential so they stayed home waiting on the govt to pay their bills, couldn't pay their rent for 4 months and got depressed so they started drinking, ended up having a wreck and ended up in the hospital. People that think perfectly capable people should be sent home and live on a free check apparently know jack shit about human nature and what happens to many people when they go from having a job and paying their way thru life to being kept at home with no purpose. U sound like you'd make a great Nazi.. "well those old people aren't very useful, just send them home and don't feed them. Well those disabled people aren't very useful let's just murder them all"... And no, it's not a leap from what you're saying to that. If you could follow your own logic you'd see it. Every human counts and our entire country was based on freedoms, including the one that says we are free to pursue happiness and not be locked in our homes like a bunch of children on the lie than we need to flatten the curve.

@ilobmirt last person I hired started @ 19/hr with no degree, but had 2 years of experience and works hard. She's gotten 2 raises in 1 year. Go find another place where someone can start at nearly 40k a year with zero education or certificates. All you idiots talking about paying a liveable wage have zero farking idea what you're talking about. Zero. There are millions of people making just enough to pay most their bills sitting at home doing nothing that apparently would rather do that than go back to work making double or triple that. Grow the hell up and stop spewing ur naive crap that you heard on CNN or Twitter. And I'm not on either coast where 40k is peanuts, that's the average where I'm at and places like WalMart or normal retail jobs would start at maybe 13-14/hr. So save me the "40k?? No one can live on that."...

@travismckinnon2494 who's knows about real estate values .. I think in the short term (1-2 years) they keep going up but they'll correct eventually. But if you're renting properties and don't use shady loans then it doesn't matter if values drop because you'll still have renters. If you're going to need to sell in the next 3 years I would sell now or else you risk waiting too long and taking a hit. If you can afford to hold for 5-10 years then I'd hold and see what happens. Also, I'm just some guy on the internet who isn't worth 100 million bucks so take all that with a half a grain of salt.. Lol

@jew-sa yeah I agree, they should go back to work. But you can throw that "non-essential" bullshit right out the window. ANY job that legitimately makes someone a living and allows them to pay for themselves and their family to eat is an ESSENTIAL job. We've let our politicians convince us that some people aren't as important as others. Fact is that govt has zero right to tell us to stay home, for any reason. They can suggest it, encourage it, but the fact that we had Americans being arrested for taking their kids to the park is all the proof I need to know govt has no right to make those kinds of rules. If you're the guy that cleans some rich person's yacht but that job feeds you and your family then you're an essential worker. One on the biggest crimes of this whole thing is they divided us from each other into essential and non essential. Just because I happen to be in healthcare doesn't make my paycheck essential and my race car driver neighbor's non-essential. Trump was saying open the economy back up last August but Dem govs decided to treats their residents like subjects instead of free people that can decide for themselves if the risk of getting covid is worth feeding their children.

@stephengreenleaf4015 "a liveable wage"? U know nothing about me but assume I under pay people for what reason? Everyone that works for me and cares about doing a job makes more than they would make anywhere else doing the same thing, guaranteed. It has nothing to do with what I'm paying, I also do put the salary in the job posting and just say it depends on experience. But still can't find people. Any other bright ideas? From someone who obviously doesn't own a business and has never had to hire employees. Shove off.

@r987p that's definitely the plan... Keep people at home, being unproductive, even tho it's clearly obvious there's zero reason to have any part of our economy still shut down. Spend a few more trillion. Hyperinflation. All these idiots whining about a "livable wage" don't seem to care that the dollar they had a year ago is really only worth 66 cents today.
