I’m a pharmacist - fortunately I don’t have to struggle with the moral questions of these types of meds but I tell every friend/family that asks to avoid taking medications that affect your brain chemistry along with 99% of others on the market. Cholesterol, SSRIs, Ozempic, ADHD, etc etc - they’re mostly poison. Diet, exercise, sleep and other lifestyle things should be the focus, not screwing with your brain chemistry and causing sometimes irreversible alterations that make it hard to live with after.
