It’s crazy that an experienced attorney murdered his wife and son and THEN 1. Thought deleting text messages from his phone made them impossible to find by law enforcement 2. Didn’t realize his Suburban recorded everything he did 3. Lied about things there was no way he could back up 4. Hired lawyers that seem totally incompetent and stumbled thru cross examinations

@mikey50469 Alex is guilty whether the jury finds him as such or not lol

@cleew8762 true - but killing four people you don’t know with a knife with other people in the house and managing to not lose ur cool and just walk out of the house isn’t exactly a “starter move” lol. At the very least he’s ripped the heads off a few cats

This happens a lot more than people know - especially in smaller towns/cities and anytime someone that’s halfway wealthy or well known.
7
@zenithrepublic1081 you must not understand what reasonable doubt is…lol.
7
eh that round didn't do any damage the other 12 didn't already do lol
7
It's called rich-privilege... I was a cop and saw it first hand.

Law enforcement never “cleans” crime scenes - lots of times the family has to hire someone to clean it. Idk why everyone is whining about clean up, cops never clean up crime scenes
6
That’s the most damming testimony - he told her he was there longer than he was there then tried to bribe her by paying for her wedding and offering to get her a job to buy her cooperation. Dude is 100% guilty
6
Intelligence and good judgment are two totally different things - to the people saying he is arrogant and not smart. He’s absolutely smart, but he just has no real morals and very poor judgement.

@sfletch3042 using drugs or force to commit a theft is most definitely considered robbery so what you blabbing about
4
@oliviaclaireokeefe8596 well she definitely wasn’t clear and powerful - she mumbled here and there. But he asked her to repeat herself to make the one to the jury most of the time, not because he couldn’t hear her

@Mynameisdarkxxo idk what the OP means but it’s not genetic - but it definitely runs in families because when u grow up in a family where something like that is the norm then you grow to think it’s the norm.

“You working with us is not gonna hurt ya” If a cop ever tells you that just know they’re lying. -former cop
3
@HjjMaker you use run ons lol
2
It’s not designed to determine if Alex is the shooter - it’s about the defense trying to poke holes in the prosecution’s expert witness and put reasonable doubt in the jury’s mind and get an acquittal.
2
Same - I knew it the minute I saw he was basically her hitman
2
@Kimberly_11 I was a cop - it’s sounds cliche but you really do just compartmentalize it and it just doesn’t cross your mind when you’re not working. But it does make you realize the sheer amount of crazy that it out there… hint, it’s a LOT and it’s people you know lol.
2
@hapisky5013 yeah it’s rare these days - really just the guys who take the job seriously and would be in good shape regardless
2
Stayed in jail “for years” until it went to trial? So much for that speedy trial thing I suppose. About as clear cut as it gets with the suspect recording the crime even - everything is incompetent in CA, even the justice system
2
Going thru all the disgusting details like that wasn’t even useful to the story
1
Ghislane Maxwell ring a bell? lol
1
@rachelr.n.3563 Texas is the size of like 5 regular states…you think it’s all the same cuz of stories from two cities? 😂
1
@jimnielsen6667 yes it’s horrible here… horribly free, not horribly safe. Don’t bother coming here.
1
@ yeah they can - but this wasn’t a whodunnit, just go to trial and move along
1
@juniormilligan4461 yeah makes sense… suppose if he’s stuck in jail and the case is a slam dunk might as well work on something else and let it sit on the docket for a few years
