You can decide it’s beat to be a single parent and that’ll never be “best” for your kid. And acting like paid parental leave is somehow preventing people from having kids is crazy.

It’s preposterous that Americans are too stupid to be engineers, that’s a lie, there are plenty of American born people that could and would do those jobs. Go talk to any of the thousands of them that have trained their H1B replacement before getting laid off. We’re not importing 85k Einsteins from India every year and I honestly don’t know why people believe that lie. Cut off the flow of immigrants and smart people like Elon and Vivek can figure out how to train Americans to do these jobs while paying them 25% more than the H1B and not having the visa to hold over their head.
