Yeah good points… instead of paying banks overdraft fees now we get to pay half a BILLION dollars to a dept that is part of the private central Bank of America. Such a superficial take.

@ lol smooth brain huh…. You completely missed the point. The point had nothing to do with national debt or the possibly consequences (which you clearly don’t understand that just because we print our own money that doesn’t exempt us from disaster - see things like BRICS). The point is that CFPB provides no actual value to Americans - other than saving the most irresponsible Americans a few bucks in fees from spending money they don’t have. The downside is that it’s unconstitutional and detached from the actual govt and not accountable to the people yet it costs us $500M a yr. Simpletons like you think that you understand how the world works and that “over draft fee protection” is somehow a thing that actually protects people when you’re taking one step forward and 12 steps backwards. Take a step back and assume you know nothing and start learning again and you’ll get a lot further.

I wonder if Joe knows that the term “low information voters” is a Rush Limbaugh quote?? Great interview

Which consumer protections are in place that are making us healthier instead of sicker? And did you miss where Trump was already president and none of that happened? As ridiculous as when you people said he was going to sell Alaska to Russia last time.

The wealthy elite OVERWHELMINGLY supporting Kamala… and Joe didn’t. So what are talking about?

@ surprise… the CFPB website says they’ve saved everyone tons of money. Might wanna investigate the use of the word “save”.

@ the CFPB is funded by The Fed…. And where do you think the crooked “independent” central bank makes its money? Hint: us.
1
@brianchampaigne5490 oh please enlighten me with some links that show the CFPB isn’t funded directly by the Fed Reserve… I’ll wait here.

@ intellectual prowess leads up arrogance which leads to them believing dumb things - they don’t have the intuition to know when they’re being lied to.

@ The CFPB gets its funding from The Fed, there was even a SCOTUS case to say that it was legal for it to do so. The civil penalties they collect go into a fund to “compensate” victims, not rub the agency. At least go look at the CFPBs own website so you won’t sound utterly ridiculous when you speak.

A billionaire that made their money starting companies scares you more than someone worth $300M that’s only ever worked for the govt? What did say that really got you riled up?
1
@skeliton1505 you people act like our govt is actually regulating these massive companies instead of helping them…. The govt has done nothing but help creating monopolies which destroys the small businesses, increases control that elites have on the economy and reduces consumer choice and innovation. Stop repeating tag lines u saw on MSNBC and actually look around and think.

The CFPB has a budget of over half a BILLION dollars… and is part of the Fed, a completely unconstitutional private bank that The People have no control over. And has only been a thing fit a little over a decade - so it’s not like people are someone healthier or richer or more prosperous than in the 90’s/00’s. We’d be better off by giving the people their half a billion tax dollars back than continuing that sham of a dept.
