i started going out every day (that the weather is good) taking photos since lockdown, i posted some on instagram and they got more likes than ny of the thousands of computer graphics images i'd been posting, but the relevance is that in the borough where i live, croydon UK, i discovered we have "insect hotels", they don't appear very effective, the ones i've seen look pretty deserted (who can tell with insects though) but what a good idea, just some boxes with rolled up paper or tree bark, somewhere insects could make a home in areas that are mainly built up and not grassland or forest.
