  2. lol. what always gets me about philosophy is that it seems to always start with "they believed that by..." which should be a big clue that "they" are just making stuff up and trying to talk it into being. i'm no philosopher, so i'm sure there are some things that can be er, proved, by talk alone, but really, most things need to be demonstrated not conjured.
