@joescott PS i left a comment, but i wanted to say, can you do a video on colour, you make the same assumption everyone does, that light is coloured, colour only exists in the brain, in fact you could say everything is actually invisible. so, please do a video as i have only seen ONE video on the subject (Color Only Exists In Your Brain! thisisphysics)

i've always said this is my simulation. on the one hand it's near certain we are a simulation, as we progress making simulations ourselves will be easier and more convincing. on the other hand people like sabine hossenfelder say there are ways to detect if we are in a simulation, and that we aren't (it's too hard to recount here, but it's to do with spin) but the question to my mind is, what are we simulating, cos this seems aweful complicated to no obvious end. presumably a simulation would have some kind of goal, and fair enough it might take billions of years to run a simulation as complex as this one, but ffs why? why would a civilisation advanced enough to create a simulation this convincing need a simulation for? couldn't they just work out whatever it is they want to work out? this being my personal computer game is the only thing that makes sense.
