  1. the one reason i would like to be immortal is to find out "how we do it". whatever the end product i'll bet it's something we haven't thought of. harnessing the energy from the sun has been a dream of mine since i was a kid and found out how electricity was generated, but the main factor is always the race between two competing ideas - as someone pointed out, electric cars would've been the norm if petrol had been just a bit harder to get hold of, if we become robots, we may not need all of the suns energy. anyway, speculation....
