  1. why oh why does squaring work? why isn't it E= mc almost multiplied by itself? why does the inverse square law work? why isn't it "the thing drops by almost four times as the distance almost doubles? why do these number work and why are they dead on and not just a teeny bit bigger or smaller??????? when it comes to light bulbs, do we invent them, "there weren't there before" - they were always there, just in a different format. it's actually harder to make a rock than a lightbulb, wouldn't you say? which leads me back to my request for a video on colour only existing in the brain, cos i was thinking about infra red and ultra violet and wondering if objects are really "invisible", that our brain has just devised a method of detecting things we will bump into - it hasn't bothered making air visible, or infra red or ultra violet. so why can we see anything at all? anyway, there is STILL only one video on colour so please do one more for my peace of mind.
