this is intriguing, that the actual limit of the universe is how a photon experiences time and distance (i like penrose description of CCC, that at the end of the universe we only have photons, and therefore no time or "size" to the universe, however expanded it might be. is this a way to unify things like "fine tuning" that all these values are connected to the 'photon speed limit'??

any other day i'd say this was voodoo conspiracy theory territory, but i happen to like this idea - lol. i have always joked that Pi is the registration number of the universe, that somewhere there is a universe where Pi = 3 exactly (or some equivalent), maybe your "bent space" is the answer. also, time dilation is an illusion isn't it? things - whether moving at the speed of light or not - experience the passage of time at one second per second, regardless, we only get apparent dilation when one object is stationary and another accelerates and decelerates near light speed, then it appears one has experienced "more time passing" than the other, but in fact both parties experience time at one second per second even though one has 1 year passed and the other 100 years passed?
