i've been a big fan of UBI, it's pretty disparaging how many people are against everyone, and UBI is everyone, having a basic amount to live on each month, it strikes me how many people actually seem to enjoy other people not having enough to meet essential needs, when ever i mention universal basic income all you seem to get is "they'll waste it on booze" when people would actually use it to get out of the poverty they find themselves in because of the way society just plain operates. i don't know of any studies that show negative impact, most experiments that have failed has been due to funding drying up, rather than the beneficiaries wasting money or not using it positively.
