i have thought for a long time that each particle in the universe occupies it's own "dimension", no matter how small the distance it takes time for one particle to be observable (by a human that is) on another particle, so essentially every particle occupies it's own time and space. so although me and my friend can chat cos we (coincidentally) are in proximity, we both occupy a different part of space and time, if you see what i mean. however close we may be, it takes time for light / sound (even touch) to travel between the two of us. anyway, time for my lie down.... eric weinstein was hinting that he found ways around einstein, i've not heard anything lately but what he was saying suggested he had found a way to make faster than light travel possible (at least that's my wishful thinking).
