  2. all that money goes straight back into the economy, poor people live hand to mouth and as soon as my pension is in my bank it goes straight to utilities, service charges on my flat, council taxes, exorbitant credit card fees - government can give away those billions cos all that money goes out of the bank and back into government pockets. same as with UBI - no one SAVES this money, no one is putting it in offshore accounts and sitting on it, ALL OF THAT MONEY is used, food, heat, light. elon musk lost $200 BILLION this week and he is STILL the richest man on earth, the super rich can be taxed to the hilt and they don't even know it's gone - they certainly are not inconvenienced are they? at the right hand side of the wealth inequality graph the bar has to be folded twice to fit back on, that's how much the rich have, while the other end has ALWAYS started at zero - no civilised country should let people live on AIR. a basic income, enough for rent and food. TAX THE RICH.
