something that popped into my head today, given god is eternal, how long was he around for before thinking, you know what, i need a new project: humans? i mean was he alone for a long time, did he create us at the same instant he was created? where along gods timescale are we, at the beginning, middle, end? and if god is perfect, what does he need us for? and more to the point why us? surely the most efficient life form is a single celled, god worshipping robot? in short, as far as god is concerned, what role do we furnish for him, because this is a weird way of achieving some end product.
