@timothybryce1948 thanks a bunch mate, i have a mixed race son and 5 out of 7 of my long term relationships - some still going - have been with people not white british. some of us old folks don't give a rat's ass where you come from or what skintone you have, other than it's great to know how other people think and feel. 70 years enjoying diversity. google says i've been to 53 cities, including hiroshima. we're not all cranky old geezers.

@biglordzero9680 in my experience EVERYONE is racist about some other country - it's how you act on it that counts. i'm racist, but i have a mixed race son, my last girlfriend was indian / caribbean, my ex wife is japanese, the girl i dated before her is peruvian (we're still friends) it all comes down to how you treat people - the japanese think EVERYONE is sub human, and i tend to agree. (i'm white british - i can't help it).

@jpowers7320 well i've been around a bit (have you been to hiroshima, i have) and that's true, thing is what you DO about being racist, personally i like the differences so my racism doesn't get much air time. but i'm a white guy, so the nearest to racism i've experienced is people (in my own country) taking the piss out of my accent, cos it's "country" not town.
