  1. i have a state (UK) pension, and a private pension, i dipped into my private pension when i was 55, so i could CONTINUE to work freelance, for myself, why you can't CHOOSE when you want to retire - when you are drawing YOUR OWN MONEY that you LOANED the government, i never understood.

  2. i get your point, and it worried me that government hold the purse strings BUT this is why YOU make sure government is doing it's job, working for YOU, then you don't have to sweat it. i have both a state pension - cos that is MY money i LOANED gov, and i have a private pension, knowing the state will only give you just enough so you don't starve on their doorstep. the real point though is that it's EVERYONE'S responsibility to make sure you don't wind up with the government (mob, gang) like america has, cos apparently americans are so dumb they invited a nazi into the whitehouse. british politics is not much better than american, but so far we haven't given the red carpet to nazis ans fascists, cos - why? how did you let that - LET THAT - happen?
