  1. blimey, take a minute before you need healthcare yourself. i see a warning light flashing chummy. i had vaccinations as a child, polio, mumps, measles. i had stitches in my thumb in 1972. i had a shard of metal removed from my eye in 1983. my japanese (now ex) wife had our son in hospital over three days. i had a car crash and was ambulanced to hospital "just in case" and x-rayed. my son fractured his collar bone eight years later - twice - had x-rays. my health went down the toilet when i hit 65 and now i'm not only taking pills every day, but i have had countless blood tests, two ct scans, two x-rays and various visits to my doctor. i never paid a penny for healthcare other than NI and tax. and that's even with the conservtives trying to run down the NHS to buy it cheap and make it like russia america. i pay for dentistry, but even then my dentist will do extractions for free, by a junior, to help keep it cheap. i buy glasses cos i'm vain.

  4. we get the same BS here in the UK - the waste is done on purpose, the conservatives have been trying to run down the NHS - under-fund and sell it off - for decades, they deliberately hobble the administration to make it look bad, buy it up and install the US system.
