  1. no one thinks we get something from nothing, usually cosmologists say "our universe" had a beginning, and that the cosmos, the thing that contains our universe, has been around forever, energy cannot be created or destroyed, it changes form. our universe, our physics, had a beginning, but the stuff our universe is made from has always existed.
