  1. i find all this a bit weird. i tell the story of when i was a kid i got a plastic spaceman from a cornflakes box, he was carrying a united nations flag, and somehow, being born in 1954, and having my parents keep reminding me of the war, i grew up thinking that the planet was going to grow up with me, and that soon wars would end (cos we're all one planet) and i would be driving my hovercar around on the moon by now. it's totally disappointing that the schedule isn't keeping pace, but, what i do find astonishing is that we are almost a spacefaring planet, so many launches are going on at the moment it is really hard to keep track, and to miss one is, well, not as big a deal as it once was. my dad died in his early 70's, and i'm 67 atm, so, i really hope we can get to the point where an old duffer like me can drive his mobility scooter around on the moon... great channel btw.

  2. not that i have any idea of what i'm talking about, or ownership claim, but wouldn't putting the ISS out into a stable orbit be a good thing, in the long run we need places for emergencies don't we? even if it was sent off in some weird voyager mission?.....
