  1. I started using Slackware in 1993 and am now a retired Unix/Linux Sys Admin. At work I went from Unix System V to BSD, HPUX, AIX and finally RHEL. My daily driver for years has been Fedora starting when it was still called Fedora Core. Recent updates in Fedora 41 caused some of my custom applications to break and the time to de-bug and re-compile well it was a deal breaker. So I installed Debian 12 Bookworm and and all my hardware is working including my printer and scanner.
