  1. The real fall of the Republican Party began with Newt Gingrich and his pushing of his "win at any cost" agenda. The party turned from governance to just winning and keeping power and to hell with the people of this country or what is in Our best interest. Once they began to back Trump, it became impossible for them to do anything else as it would show how they abandoned doing what is right in favor of blind power.
