  1. Huh? The arched spring housing is from a M1911A1, so might not be original to this gun if it is indeed a 1914 manufactured one. The same with the plastic grip panels, they should be wood so I'm guessing this was re-worked to bring it to the M1911A1 spec between the wars? Beyond that great job as always.
