  1. Musk went cheap of the Tesla vehicles while still charging a huge markup. The self driving feature that he pushed is dangerous as he went with cheap cameras instead of lidar sensors. For those that don't understand why this is bad, the cameras are easily confused in such conditions as rain and fog where lidar "sees" through these conditions. And when you have parts falling off, well that shows problems too with the Cybertrucks. Had he not gone off the rails with his purchase of Twitter and dive into far right wing politics, Tesla would still be in trouble just less trouble as there are real and better built competitors out there now including FORD!

  2. Tesla decided to use cameras and not lidar sensors for it's "self driving" system. Cameras are less expensive but have issues that lidar does not. What sort of issues? Oh not being able to "see" in fog, lidar can! Not being able to "see" in heavy rain, lidar can. Not being able to "see" in heavy snow fall, lidar can. So unless you live where there isn't fog, rain or snow, cameras are fine. For the rest of the world eh not so much so a lidar equipped self driving car is the way to go. Oh and one more thing, you know the old "Roadrunner" cartoons? Where Wile E Coyote paints a tunnel on a wall?
