Musk went cheap of the Tesla vehicles while still charging a huge markup. The self driving feature that he pushed is dangerous as he went with cheap cameras instead of lidar sensors. For those that don't understand why this is bad, the cameras are easily confused in such conditions as rain and fog where lidar "sees" through these conditions. And when you have parts falling off, well that shows problems too with the Cybertrucks. Had he not gone off the rails with his purchase of Twitter and dive into far right wing politics, Tesla would still be in trouble just less trouble as there are real and better built competitors out there now including FORD!
