  1. Okay just did a dnf upgrade from 36 to 37 on 3 desktops, 4 laptops, 1 netbook and 1 Raspberry Pi 4 - all upgraded without any issues. So I went from Fedora 32 to 37 using dnf on all that hardware without any problems! So anyone who is afraid they will need to do a clean reinstall when moving to the next version, no you don't unless you wish too!

  2. I have a handful of small Windows applications that do not run under wine. One example is the security camera software that monitors my cameras. What I ended up doing is getting a used HP Eletedesk G2 mini to run those applications. It draws less than 65 watts and sits in a closet. I access it from my Fedora Linux based systems via Remmina using RDP, Total cost of additional hardware was less than $90 and came with a Windows 10 pro license. Yes I could have used bottles but this was a better fit

  3. I'm running 32 bit MATE Debian on an old Dell Inspiron MINI 10, just 1 GB ram and an AMD Athlon CPU but runs great with Debian

  5. That's how I feel about Fedora! It works perfectly for me without issues. Just pick one that works for your use case and stick with it, it's as simple as that.
