  1. I have a handful of small Windows applications that do not run under wine. One example is the security camera software that monitors my cameras. What I ended up doing is getting a used HP Eletedesk G2 mini to run those applications. It draws less than 65 watts and sits in a closet. I access it from my Fedora Linux based systems via Remmina using RDP, Total cost of additional hardware was less than $90 and came with a Windows 10 pro license. Yes I could have used bottles but this was a better fit
